CDC has new President and CEO

President Rodrigo Duterte has approved the nomination of Director Manuel R. Gaerlan as the new President and Chief Executive Officer of Clark Development Corporation (CDC). Malacanang has announced the appointment in a letter signed by Executive Secretary Salvador C. Medialdea dated January 11, 2021. The letter was addressed to the members of the CDC Board of Directors (BOD). The CDC BOD, executives and staff regard the appointment as a welcome development. For her part, Engr. Mariza O. Mandocdoc, Officer-In-Charge, Office of the CDC President, said she is thankful that President Duterte appointed a new President and CEO from the members of the CDC BOD. “Director Gaerlan is very much aware of the opportunities and challenges that Clark faces. With his inspiring leadership, CDC will be able to accomplish much much more for Clark and its stakeholders,” Mandocdoc said. CEB Travel Advisory

As of Dec 31, 2020, 7:25am   ENTRY RESTRICTIONS FOR FOREIGN NATIONALS  FROM DEC 30, 2020 TO JAN 15, 2021       Due to the newly detected variant of the SARS-CoV-2, the Philippine government, through the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF), has imposed a temporary ban for foreign nationals flying to the Philippines  from December 30, 2020 to January 15, 2021 . During this period, only Filipino citizens will be accepted on CEB’s flights from Hong Kong, Nagoya (Japan), Singapore, and Seoul (South Korea).      CEB will not accept foreign nationals who originated from, transited via, or visited within 14 days prior to arrival in the Philippines, any of the 20 countries specified in the IATF resolution. CEB now offers Antigen tests for only PHP 700

Affordable RT-PCR test option also available for only PHP3, 300 The Philippines’ leading carrier, Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), commercially launches its Test Before Boarding (TBB) process for passengers flying from Manila, after its successful pilot run with the local government of General Santos. This process makes use of an antigen test taken just hours before the scheduled time of departure, with results released within 30 minutes.  CEB offers this antigen test for only PHP 700, the lowest rate in the industry. The TBB testing facility at the NAIA Terminal 3 is now open for walk-ins  from 2AM to 2PM  daily. CEB passengers will only have to register onsite and pay the fee directly to CEB’s diagnostic partner, Philippine Airport Diagnostic Laboratory (PADL). Throughout the pilot run, CEB tested a total of 1,143 passengers, three of whom tested positive and were not allowed to proceed with their flight.
